General Questions

What is AutoCityModel?
AutoCityModel creates custom 3D-printed models of any location in the Netherlands or Belgium. Each model is generated from real building data and street layouts, creating an accurate miniature representation of your chosen area.
How accurate are the models?
Our models are based on official 3D BAG building data and BGT street layout data from the Dutch government. This ensures high accuracy for building locations, footprints, and heights. The models represent the real-world geography with impressive detail.
What areas are available?
We currently support all locations in the Netherlands (entire country). You can choose any city, neighborhood, or rural area within the country.

Sizes & Customization

What sizes are available?
We offer three standard sizes with frames:
  • S (20×20 cm) - Perfect for desks and shelves
  • M (35×35 cm) - Great for wall displays
  • L (50×50 cm) - Impressive statement pieces
Custom sizes are also available without frames.
What does the scale mean?
The scale determines how much area is captured in your model. For example:
  • 1:500 - Shows a small neighborhood (100×100m for S size)
  • 1:2500 - Captures a medium district (500×500m for S size)
  • 1:5000 - Covers a large area (1000×1000m for S size)
Larger scales show more area but with less detail per building.
Can I create a custom size?
Yes! Select "Custom Size" to specify your own dimensions. Custom models do not include a frame and require a quote based on your specifications. Contact us with your requirements for pricing.

Production & Delivery

How long does production take?
Standard models are made to order and typically ship within 5-7 business days. Custom orders may take longer depending on complexity.
What materials are used?
Models are 3D printed in full color using high-quality PLA material. The prints are durable, detailed, and designed to last. Standard sizes include a luxury display frame.
Can I preview my model before ordering?
Currently, previews are generated as part of the ordering process. Once you add to cart and the model is generated, you'll see a 3D preview before completing your purchase.
